وسيُعد أسبوع تمويل التنمية منصة دولية رئيسية ستجمع الحكومات والمؤسسات المالية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني لمناقشة تمويل أهداف التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز الشراكات العالمية، في حين سيركّز المنتدى الدائم على قضايا الشعوب الأصلية وحقوق الأقليات في إطار التنمية وحقوق الإنسان.

وستؤكد الرابطة من خلال مشاركتها في الاجتماعين على أهمية إدماج البعد الحقوقي في سياسات التمويل الدولي، مشددة على أن تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة لن يتحقق دون ضمان العدالة الاجتماعية وحماية الفئات الأكثر ضعفًا، لا سيما المهاجرين والأقليات في مناطق النزاعات.

وخلال مشاركتها في المنتدى الدائم، ستقدّم الرابطة مداخلات وتقارير ستسلّط الضوء على أبرز الانتهاكات التي تتعرض لها الأقليات في اليمن والمنطقة العربية، بما في ذلك التمييز القائم على الهوية، والقيود على الحقوق الثقافية والدينية، وضعف الحماية القانونية في مناطق النزاع، واستهداف المجتمعات الهشة.

كما ستودع الرابطة تقارير قانونية موثقة ستتضمن تحليلاً معمقاً وتوصيات عملية تهدف إلى تعزيز الحماية الدولية للأقليات، ودعم برامج الأمم المتحدة، وضمان مساءلة مرتكبي الانتهاكات.

📰 AMHRI to Participate in the 2026Financing for Development Week and the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, Emphasizing Rights-Based Financing and Minority Protection

The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI) will participate, through its New York-based delegation, in the ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development Follow-Up (FFD Forum) and the SDG Investment Fair, as part of the 2026 Financing for Development Week (FFD Week) to be held at the United Nations Headquarters from April 20 to 24, 2026.

In parallel, AMHRI will also participate with a specialized human rights delegation in the 25th session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, to be held in New York from April 20 to May 1, 2026 under the auspices of ECOSOC.

FFD Week will serve as a major global platform bringing together governments, financial institutions, civil society, and the private sector to discuss innovative approaches to financing sustainable development and strengthening global partnerships, while the Permanent Forum will focus on indigenous peoples’ rights and minority protection within the broader human rights and development framework.

Through its participation, AMHRI will emphasize the importance of integrating a human rights-based approach into international financing policies, stressing that achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will not be possible without ensuring social justice and protecting vulnerable groups, particularly migrants and minorities in conflict-affected areas.

During the Forum sessions, AMHRI will deliver statements and submit reports highlighting serious violations affecting minorities in Yemen and the Arab region, including discrimination based on identity, restrictions on cultural and religious rights, weak legal protections, and the targeting of vulnerable communities in conflict settings.

The Association will also submit documented legal reports providing in-depth analysis and practical recommendations aimed at strengthening international protection mechanisms, supporting UN programs, and ensuring accountability for violations.
