The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI) extends its warmest congratulations to the Yemeni American Merchants Association (YAMA) on the outstanding success of its 2026 Annual Gala, held on Saturday evening at the Marriott LaGuardia Hotel – New York, with the attendance of the Mayor of New York City, Mr. Zahran Mamdani, alongside prominent community leaders.
AMHRI commends YAMA’s exemplary organization and professionalism, which reflected its clear mission in serving the Yemeni American community through honoring individuals who have made meaningful contributions in public service, entrepreneurship, justice advocacy, and community impact.
AMHRI also expresses its pride in partnering with YAMA and affirms that this success represents a model of effective community leadership and a strong foundation for continued collaboration in support of families, merchants, and youth across New York City.
