شاركت رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة (AMHRI)، ومقرها نيويورك، في فعاليات يوم مناصرة اليمن في الكونغرس الأمريكي، الذي ينظمه مركز واشنطن للدراسات اليمنية.
وجاءت مشاركة الرابطة في إطار جهودها المستمرة لحشد التأييد الدولي لقضايا الشعب اليمني والدفاع عن حقوقه، حيث تم تقديم مذكرات مناصرة إلى أعضاء الكونغرس، تسلط الضوء على ضرورة دعم السلام العادل والمستدام في اليمن، ورفع المعاناة عن المدنيين، والعمل على تمكين اليمنيين من استعادة دولتهم والانتقال نحو الحكم المدني الديمقراطي.
وأكد رئيس واعضاء فريق الرابطة ، أن هذه المشاركة تأتي امتدادًا لمساعي الرابطة لتعزيز صوت الجاليات اليمنية في الولايات المتحدة، وربطها بصناع القرار، مشيرًا إلى أن الرابطة تعمل بالشراكة مع منظمات يمنية–أمريكية وحقوقية دولية لتوحيد الجهود نحو دعم القضايا الإنسانية والحقوقية في اليمن.

📖AMHRI Participates in Yemen Advocacy Day at the U.S. Congress Organized by the Washington Center for Yemeni Studies

The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI), based in New York, took part in the events of Yemen Advocacy Day at the U.S. Congress, organized by the Washington Center for Yemeni Studies.
AMHRI’s participation came as part of its ongoing efforts to mobilize international support for the Yemeni people and to defend their rights. Advocacy memoranda were presented to members of Congress, highlighting the urgent need to support a just and sustainable peace in Yemen, alleviate the suffering of civilians, and enable Yemenis to restore their state and transition toward a democratic civil government.
The President and members of AMHRI’s team affirmed that this participation reflects the Association’s broader mission to amplify the voice of Yemeni communities in the United States and connect them with policymakers. They emphasized that AMHRI works in partnership with Yemeni–American organizations and international human rights groups to unify efforts in support of humanitarian and human rights causes in Yemen.
