تعلن رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة (AMHRI) عن مشاركتها في اجتماعات الدورة الستين لمجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة، التي ستنعقد في مدينة جنيف خلال الفترة من الاثنين 8 سبتمبر وحتى 8 أكتوبر 2025. وتأتي هذه المشاركة امتدادًا لجهود الرابطة في رصد وتوثيق الانتهاكات والدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، خصوصًا في الدول التي تشهد أزمات وصراعات مسلحة ، والعمل على تعزيز مبادئ المساواة والعدالة الدولية. ويعمل فريق الرابطة المشارك في الدورة بالشراكة مع مركز جنيف الدولي للعدالة (GICJ) والشبكة اليمنية للحقوق والحريات ، حيث سيقدم الفريق تقارير وإحاطات وتقارير حقوقية متنوعة ، ويشارك في الحوارات التفاعلية مع الدول الأعضاء والمقررين الخاصين، ويعقد لقاءات مع ممثلي الدول ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والمنظمات الدولية. وستركز أجندة فريق الرابطة على تسليط الضوء عدد من الملفات والانتهاكات الخطيرة البارزة أهمها في اليمن حيث سيتم المناصرة وكشف جرائم ميليشيات الحوثيين المتمثلة بالاعتقال التعسفي والإخفاء القسري لليمنيين والموظفين الأممين وتجنيد الأطفال والقيود على حرية التعبير والتنقل والدعوة لضمان المساءلة وحماية المدنيين وتيسير العمل الإنساني وكذلك انتهاكات بقية اطراف النزاع ، وفي السودان سيتم تسليط الضوء على الانتهاكات الجسيمة المرتبطة بالنزاع وضرورة الوصول الإنساني وحماية النازحين ومحاسبة الجناة، أما في ليبيا فسيجري الدفاع عن مساحات المجتمع المدني وحرية الرأي والدفع باتجاه مسارات عدالة انتقالية فعّالة تكافح الإفلات من العقاب، وفي إيران ستُعرض الانتهاكات المتمثلة في القيود على الحريات الأساسية واستهداف المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان والأقليات والمطالبة بضمانات للمحاكمات العادلة، بينما يتركز الاهتمام في العراق على دعم جهود المساءلة عن الانتهاكات بما فيها قضايا الاختفاء القسري والتعذيب وتعزيز حماية الصحفيين والنشطاء.
وأكد رئيس الرابطة محمد علي علاو في تصريح صحافي “أن الهدف من هذه المشاركة هو ايصال أصوات الضحايا والمتضررين إلى المجتمع الدولي والمطالبة بمحاسبة منتهكي الحقوق مع السعي لتفعيل آليات الحماية الدولية وتوسيع الشراكات لدعم قضايا حقوق الإنسان والتنمية المستدامة، مجددًا التزام الرابطة بدورها الفاعل في الدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان والكرامة الإنسانية والتعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين لتحقيق العدالة.
الجدير بالذكر ان الرابطة حاصلة على الصفة الاستشارية لدى الامم المتحدة ولديها وضع مراقب معتمد ، وهذا الاعتماد الخاص يسمح لها بالمشاركة في اجتماعات الامم المتحدة ومناصرة الحقوق والحريات في كل المحافل الدولية.

📖Ma’onah Association Participates in the 60th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva

Press Release – New York, September 7, 2025

The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI) announces its participation in the 60th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, to be held in Geneva from Monday, September 8, until October 8, 2025. This participation comes as part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to monitor and document violations and to advocate for the protection of human rights, particularly in countries experiencing crises and armed conflicts, while working to promote the principles of equality and international justice.

The Association’s delegation is participating in this session in partnership with the Geneva International Centre for Justice (GICJ) and the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms. The delegation will submit reports, deliver oral interventions, and engage in interactive dialogues with Member States and Special Rapporteurs, in addition to holding meetings with state representatives, civil society organizations, and international bodies.

The Association’s agenda will focus on highlighting several grave human rights files. In Yemen, advocacy will expose the crimes of the Houthi militia, including arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance of Yemenis and UN staff, child recruitment, restrictions on freedom of expression and movement, and calls for accountability, civilian protection, facilitation of humanitarian access, and addressing violations by all parties to the conflict. In Sudan, attention will be drawn to gross violations associated with the ongoing conflict, emphasizing humanitarian access, protection of displaced persons, and accountability of perpetrators. In Libya, the focus will be on defending civic space and freedom of expression, while pressing for effective transitional justice processes that combat impunity. In Iran, the agenda will address restrictions on fundamental freedoms, targeting of human rights defenders and minorities, and the need for guarantees of fair trials. In Iraq, efforts will center on supporting accountability for violations, including enforced disappearances and torture, and enhancing the protection of journalists and activists.

In a press statement, the President of the Association, Mohammed Ali Alao, affirmed: “The purpose of this participation is to convey the voices of victims and affected communities to the international community, to demand accountability for human rights violators, and to work towards activating international protection mechanisms and expanding partnerships to support human rights and sustainable development. The Association reaffirms its commitment to its active role in defending human rights and human dignity, and in cooperating with international partners to achieve justice.”

It is noteworthy that AMHRI holds consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and enjoys accredited observer status, which entitles it to participate in UN meetings and to advocate for rights and freedoms across all international fora.
