‏ترحب رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة (AMHرابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرةريكية القاضي بوقف تنفيذ قرار إنهاء “وضع الحماية المؤقتة” (TPS) لليمنيين، واعتباره خطوة قانونية وإنسانية مهمة لحماية آلاف اليمنيين من خطر الترحيل إلى مناطق غير آمنة.

‏وتؤكد الرابطة أنها شاركت، إلى جانب عدد من المنظمات والجمعيات اليمنية الأمريكية، في جهود مناصرة هذه الدعوى، والتي قادها جميعا مركز الحقوق الدستورية الأمريكي ، دفاعاً عن حقوق المهاجرين اليمنيين وضمان التزام السلطات الأمريكية بالقانون والدستور.

‏وتشدد الرابطة على أن هذا القرار يمثل انتصاراً مؤقتاً للعدالة، ويعكس أهمية العمل الحقوقي المشترك في مواجهة السياسات التي قد تعرض حياة الأفراد للخطر، داعيةً إلى الوصول إلى حل دائم يضمن الاستقرار القانوني والإنساني لليمنيين في الولايات المتحدة.

‏كما تجدد الرابطة التزامها بمواصلة جهودها القانونية والحقوقية، بالتعاون مع شركائها، لحماية حقوق المهاجرين والدفاع عن كرامتهم، بما يتماشى مع القيم الدستورية والالتزامات الدولية للولايات المتحدة.شاكرة ومقدرة جهود جميع من ساهموا في مناصرة هذه القضية الإنسانية العادلة.

Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration Welcomes Federal Court Decision to Halt Termination of TPS for Yemenis

The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI) welcomes the decision of the U.S. federal court to halt the implementation of the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Yemenis, considering it an important legal and humanitarian step to protect thousands of Yemenis from the risk of deportation to unsafe areas.

The Association affirms that it participated, alongside a number of Yemeni American organizations and associations, in advocacy efforts supporting this case, which were collectively led by the Center for Constitutional Rights, in defense of the rights of Yemeni migrants and to ensure that U.S. authorities adhere to the law and the Constitution.

AMHRI emphasizes that this decision represents a temporary victory for justice and reflects the importance of joint human rights action in confronting policies that may endanger people’s lives. The Association calls for a lasting solution that guarantees legal and humanitarian stability for Yemenis in the United States.

The Association also renews its commitment to continuing its legal and human rights efforts, in cooperation with its partners, to protect migrants’ rights and defend their dignity, in line with constitutional values and the international obligations of the United States. It expresses its sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to advocating for this just humanitarian cause.
