رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة – نيويورك

احتفلت رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة (AMHRI) في نيويورك باليوم العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، وأطلقت ثلاثة تقارير دولية رئيسية تشمل: التقرير السنوي 2025، تقرير مراقبة انتخابات نيويورك 2025، وتقرير مراقبة الانتخابات البرلمانية العراقية 2025، وذلك بحضور منظمات دولية وأممية وقيادات أكاديمية ومجتمعية وصحفيين امريكيين .

وخلال الفعالية، استعرضت الرابطة في ريبورتاج قصير أبرز أنشطتها في الأمم المتحدة خلال عام 2025، بما في ذلك مشاركتها في ثلاث دورات متتالية لمجلس حقوق الإنسان، وتوسيع شراكاتها الدولية، وافتتاح مكتبها الجديد في بروكلين، وتنفيذ برامج تدريبية استفاد منها أكثر من 1200 شخص .

كما قدمت الرابطة نتائج مشروعَي المراقبة الانتخابية في نيويورك والعراق، مؤكدة إعداد التقارير وفق المعايير الدولية لتعزيز الشفافية والديمقراطية.

وتضمّن الاحتفال معرضًا فنيًا بعنوان “الفن من أجل الحقوق والسلام وأهداف التنمية المستدامة” بمشاركة شباب من الجاليات اليمنية والعربية.

وفي كلمته، أكد رئيس الرابطة محمد علي علاو التزام AMHRI بالدفاع عن الضحايا وتمكين المهاجرين ومواصلة العمل الأممي خلال عام 2026.

ودعت الرابطة إلى تعزيز الرقابة الانتخابية، حماية المدنيين والعاملين الإنسانيين، الإفراج عن موظفي الأمم المتحدة المختطفين في اليمن، وتمديد وضع الحماية المؤقتة (TPS) لليمنيين في الولايات المتحدة.

‏AMHRI celebrated Human Rights Day in New York by launching three major international reports: the AMHRI 2025 Annual Report, the New York City 2025 Election Observation Report, and the Iraq Parliamentary Elections 2025 Observation Report. The event was attended by UN bodies, international organizations, academics, community leaders, and media representatives.

‏The organization highlighted its strong engagement at the United Nations throughout 2025, including participation in three consecutive Human Rights Council sessions, expanded partnerships, the opening of its new Brooklyn office, and training programs that benefited more than 1,200 participants.

‏AMHRI also presented key findings from its election-monitoring missions in New York and Iraq, underscoring adherence to international standards to promote transparency and democratic governance.

‏The event featured an art exhibition titled “Art for Human Rights, Peace, and the SDGs”, showcasing works by young artists from Yemeni and Arab communities.

‏In his remarks, AMHRI President Mohammed Ali Alaw reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to defending victims, empowering migrant communities, and strengthening its international engagement in 2026.

‏AMHRI called for enhanced electoral oversight, protection of civilians and humanitarian workers, the release of UN staff abducted in Yemen, and the extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Yemenis in the United States.
